Join me for a gently guided printmaking session!

Focus: Classic Relief Carving (DIY Stamp-Making)

Carve away the surface of a block so the remaining raised area holds ink which can then be printed (or stamped)onto various surfaces.

CAUTION! Tools are sharp & ink gets messy!

This workshop will be a little more in depth than others and we're gonna practice SAFETY! (first-aid kit will be handy!)

You'll have the option to start small by experimenting with foam sheets & erasers, and eventually make your way to other materials such as rubber, linoleum or wood.

You may create your own design or choose from a pre-made selection. We will learn how to either transfer a design or design directly onto your block

Your Ticket Includes:

All Supplies Needed: Various sized carving tools, black ink, brayers (rollers) & trays, rubber erasers, blocks, foam sheets, rubber gloves, aprons, & various surfaces to print (or stamp) your design on.

You will go home with your prints & your printing block!
